This 100% whole wheat flour is stone ground from our certified organic hard red winter wheat. It contains the entire wheat berries--nothing is lost and nothing is added during milling.

Packaging, shipping and storage
We grind your flour just prior to shipping, seal it in a zip-lock freezer bag and enclose it in a paper bag which we then sew shut.
Your flour is milled just prior to shipping, so it will be very fresh when you get it. Because whole wheat flour contains the oil-rich germ, it can go rancid over time if stored incorrectly. We recommend you squeeze the air out of the freezer bag and store the flour in your refrigerator or freezer.
